About Course

Tiny Tycoons™ is a faith-based, parent-led money course designed for children ages 4–7. This course helps families introduce money, work, saving, giving, and stewardship in a simple, joyful, and intentional way—without pressure, fear, or confusion.

Instead of teaching kids to chase money, Tiny Tycoons™ teaches them to understand value, build healthy habits, and trust God as their provider. Each lesson is short, engaging, and designed to be done together as a family.

This course is not about raising wealthy kids.
It’s about raising wise, generous, and confident stewards who understand that money is a tool—and legacy starts at home.

With guided videos, faith-based lessons, hands-on activities, and printable resources, parents don’t need any financial background to get started. You simply show up, learn together, and build a strong foundation that lasts.

Course Content

Week 0
This welcome week sets the foundation for the entire course. Parents and children are introduced to the heart behind Tiny Tycoons™—building faith-based money habits early. Families will understand why teaching money now matters, how the course works, and how legacy begins at home. Learning Outcomes: -Parents understand the purpose and flow of the course -Children feel excited and included from day one -Families reset the tone around money as a tool, not a taboo -Establish a shared family vision around legacy and stewardship Things Required: -Printed Family Money Mission Sheet -Crayons or markers -Piggy bank or jar (any type) -Quiet family time (15–20 minutes)

Week 1: What Is Money and Why Does It Matter?
This lesson introduces children to the idea of money as a tool for trading value—not something good or bad. Families explore where money comes from, who truly owns it, and how God’s design for money is rooted in stewardship. Learning Outcomes: -Children understand money as a tool, not an identity -Parents model stewardship instead of ownership -Kids begin recognizing value beyond toys or treats -Families define what “abundance” really means Things Required: -Piggy bank or jars -Printable Value Sort Game -Stickers or coloring supplies -Apple or simple household object (optional for demo)

WEEK 2 — EARN IT TO LEARN IT™
This week connects work with purpose. Children learn that money is earned through contribution, not entitlement. Parents introduce commission-based earning in a fun, age-appropriate way while reinforcing effort, responsibility, and joy in helping. Learning Outcomes: -Children understand work as serving others -Parents shift from allowance to commission thinking -Kids connect effort with reward -Families normalize positive conversations about work Things Required: -Chore & Commission Chart -Stickers or reward markers -Pencil or pen -Simple household chores ready to assign

WEEK 3 — SAVE WITH PURPOSE™
Children learn that saving isn’t about missing out—it’s about planning ahead. This lesson introduces delayed gratification in a joyful, visual way and helps kids practice patience while working toward a goal. Learning Outcomes: -Children understand saving as planning, not punishment -Parents encourage patience and goal-setting -Kids begin tracking progress visually -Families celebrate small wins Things Required: -Save jar or container -Goal Tracker Printable -Stickers or stamps -One simple savings goal (toy, book, activity)

WEEK 4 — GIVE JOYFULLY™
This lesson teaches generosity as a joyful habit. Children learn that giving is part of God’s design and that helping others brings happiness. Families plan simple, meaningful ways to give together. Learning Outcomes: -Children understand generosity -Parents model joyful giving -Families experience giving as a shared value -Kids see money as a way to bless others Things Required: -Give jar -Giving Story Card or printable -Envelope or small box -Simple giving idea (church, charity, neighbor)

WEEK 5 — SPEND WITH WISDOM™
Children learn that every spending choice has a trade-off. Through play and discussion, families explore how to decide when to spend, when to save, and how wisdom helps us choose well. Learning Outcomes: -Children understand choice and consequence -Parents guide decision-making without pressure -Kids practice thinking before spending -Families role-play real-life money situations Things Required: -Play money or coins -Spend or Save Game printable -Small items for pretend store -Spend jar

WEEK 6 — GOD IS OUR PROVIDER™
This week shifts focus from money as security to God as provider. Children learn that money helps—but God takes care of us. Families practice gratitude, trust, and prayer together. Learning Outcomes: -Children understand God as their source -Parents reduce fear-based money language -Families build gratitude habits -Kids learn trust through faith Things Required: -Gratitude Jar -Slips of paper -Printable prayer page -Quiet reflection time
